About Us
International Space Economics, Space Law and Space Sciences Symposium is held every year in May in cooperation with Istanbul University Faculty of Economics, Faculty of Law and Observatory Research and Application Center within the framework of recent developments in the world.
The space industry gathers different sectors under the same roof with its high technical expertise and economic potential. The space industry will be a leading sector in the determination of economic, legal and scientific research issues. Therefore, the aim of the symposium is to analyze the space industry academically from economic, political and legal aspects and to help improve the mutual understanding between experts and government decision makers by increasing the effectiveness of science-policy interactions.
Objectives
The main objectives of the International Space Economy, Space Law and Space Sciences Symposium are:
- To provide an environment where Turkish and foreign researchers who research and analyze developments in the world can discuss and share their work.
- To raise a general awareness of the importance of the field among professionals in the space sciences, and the general public.
- To promote the study on space economics, space law and space sciences by encouraging researchers in the field through the publication of scholarly works.
